Shoe Boxes to the Rescue

I know the tree and decorations are not even put away yet but it’s time to think about getting organized for next Christmas. The first thing to do is start saving boxes. Every box that comes into your house that could possibly be filled with Christmas loot, find a home for it now. One thing I like to do is save shoe boxes. Shoe boxes are great for so many things but they are really wonderful for Christmas. The best part is you can wrap the top and bottom separately and then just put on the lid instead of taping … Continue reading

An Organized Move

My daughter is getting ready to move. We all know how much fun that can be. This is her first move alone, she will be getting her own apartment for the first time. However, neither quite compares to what occurred last week on a California highway. According to news reports, a tractor-trailer hauling dozens of gigantic blocks of cheese erupted in flames, turning much of its cargo into freeway fondue. The good news: no one was hurt. The bad news: … Continue reading

You look forward to the day you’ve save up enough for that big ticket item at the thrift store. You make do with newspaper until the price of toilet paper goes down. You check the coin star machine at the grocery store to see if anyone left any extra money in … Continue reading
